Outpatient mental health services in Portland and Salem
If you or a loved one is struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, substance abuse or chemical dependency, outpatient services can help.
Partial hospitalization program (PHP)
Partial hospitalization is a more intensive form of outpatient care. Unlike residential treatment, PHP does not require people to live at the facility. It’s often used as a step-down from inpatient treatment. PHP requires a more significant time commitment of four hours of group therapy daily, as well as individual check-ins weekly with both a therapist and psychiatric provider.
Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
Intensive outpatient can be effective in treating a variety of mental health and substance use conditions. The IOP level of care provides comprehensive outpatient treatment that is more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy, but less intensive than PHP.
