Dialectical Behavioral Therapy Can Boost Coping Skills
“Dialectical” means combining opposite ideas. DBT psychotherapy focuses on helping people accept the reality of their lives and their actions, as well as helping them learn how to avoid unhelpful behaviors in the future. Our DBT Skills Program is offered via telehealth, and can show you healthier ways to communicate and live a more balanced life.
DBT outpatient services follow a structured, specific curriculum. This type of evidence-based talk therapy can help improve:
- Mindfulness
- Interpersonal effectiveness
- Emotional regulation
- Distress tolerance
